Last year, our Year 11 class of 2019 received excellent results in their IGCSE examinations.
Nexus learners achieved 100% pass rate with close to half of all grades at A*/A or 9-7 which is more than double the average.
Almost 80% of learners achieved an A* in at least 1 subject and 12 learners achieved a phenomenal 10A*/A grades and above each - a fantastic achievement.
92% of learners achieved five A* - C while 90% achieved five A* - C (including English and Maths).
Nexus Learner Awarded Top in Malaysia for IGCSE International Mathematics
Nexus learner, Tan Kwan Wynn was recently recognised as an Outstanding Cambridge Learner for the 2019 IGCSE examinations. She received the award for being the top in the country for International Mathematics.
Last year, more than one million students sat for the Cambridge examinations in over 10,000 schools around the world, including Malaysia, UK, the USA, China, India and Singapore, as well as throughout Europe, South America and the Middle East - which makes this an amazing achievement for Kwan Wynn and the school.
Kwan Wynn who is passionate about Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science was also a member of the Nexus string orchestra, Model United Nations and part of the school’s community service group which worked closely with a Myanmar refugee centre.
